I forgot to mention my host, while in Lawrence. Chris and his family were absolutely amazing people to be around. We had a great home cooked meal my first evening in town, and talked about the tours happenings thus far. Chris and Maria, are both avid cyclist and athletes, and their kids will follow suit. They have a couple of tandem bikes and trail-a-long bikes that the kids can ride, along with a burly trailer for their baby girl.

Chris advised where to go and the things to see while in Lawrence, along with taking care of a pre order at the bike shop for me. Chris along with Maria, used to work at sunflower bikes.

I really hope our paths cross again, as I really enjoyed my time spent with Chris and Maria, and their amazing children!

Overall my experience in Lawrence Kansas was an amazing one! I am very grateful of the people I met there and all the help that was extended. I raise my glass to you great people of Lawrence!!!

So this is kind of a crappy picture, but this was on the way to Lawrence.

This is at sunflower bikes in Lawrence. Super awesome bike shop, with supper awesome employees!! Thanks everyone at sunflower for all that you did. If I ever get stuck in Lawrence, I’ll be sure to get a job with you guys, cause I’ll fit right on in.

What’s wrong with this lock job. Lawrence is a cool city, and no one is going to steal your bike, but if your going through the trouble of locking up, at least do it right.

So, I stopped at free state brewery. It’s a local brewery in Lawrence, and they have amazing beer. It is kind of like uncle billy’s in Austin. You can buy a growler and the beers are cheaper! So good, so so good! If you see me in person, I have a story to tell about Lawrence, ask me about it.
