So I made it through two state lines in two days. The one thing that the show me state has showed me is, the retiles can’t seem to make it across the road. There were lots of frogs,lizards,snakes and turtles that didn’t quite make it.
The ride was good, hilly, but good. From what the locals tell me, I have about another 100 miles of rolling hills before they stop.
While stopped in redding, I met a couple of brothers. Kevin, one of the brothers filled my water bottles for me, being there is no gas station/convience store here. The other brother Keith (?) gave me some fresh tomtatoes from his garden along with some green onions and radishes. He also threw in some ribs that he cooked from the night before. A little bit later, they came back over with their friend Sam (?) and he had a bag full of cucumbers and a beer for me. Very awesome folks! Also very gratious for the water, being there is nowhere to get any.
I didn’t really take any pictures, because it is kind of the same thing over and over, but I was able to snap these.
And of course, this one…..do you see a theme going on here?
